Meet Monica

Monica Timms stays true to her mantra that her business is “All about you!” Since 1999, she has defied the real estate agent stereotype — changing many lives by offering personalized, holistic guidance that considers both the contractual and human sides of real estate. During each successful purchase or sale, Monica builds genuine relationships that transcend the transaction and develop into lasting connections. As a result, her growing business is made of mostly repeat and referral clients, and she has a robust network of established vendors who expedite the process. Her belief that everyone deserves a joyful, comprehensive real estate experience inspired her to create ArtisTree Real Estate with fellow top agent and founding partner Ruhi Alikhan in 2022. 

Throughout her career, Monica has been known for her thoughtful and strategic approaches. She takes each client’s nuanced needs into account before collaborating with them on actionable plans, simplifying complexities, setting clear expectations, and helping them mitigate potential obstacles. Her top priority is to ensure clients understand the long-term implications of their investments — even (and especially) when her buyers fall in love with properties that may give them cause for concern in the future. 

Monica’s corporate background also informs her approach to real estate. Years in finance/accounting, sales, human resource management, and hospitality have given her marketing savvy, people skills, and a customer-first mentality. She also worked in title and escrow for six years before becoming a full-time agent in 2007. Monica possesses a comprehensive understanding of the sales process. Her close relationships with her peers lay the groundwork for making her clients’ transactions smoother and more enjoyable. Everything Monica does is customized to her client’s situation and designed to alleviate their potential stress. She truly has your best interests at heart, and it shows. 

Monica has been a Tri-Valley resident for four decades and has lived in Danville South, Westside Alamo, Bollinger Hills, and Roundhill and Diablo country clubs. She currently lives in Danville with her daughter, Mia, and their dog, Shadow.
